The project included the restoration of a wood frame home dating in part from the 1870's, the installation of a new kitchen and two new bathrooms, and the addition of a new screened porch and gazebo. The owner acted as his own general contractor in order to insure the quality of the work and the accuracy of the restoration. The renovated structure has become one of Tampa Bay's most unique residences combining the historical charm of the original house with the new amenities and an unsurpassed view of Lake Thonotosassa.
