Once the proud symbol of Winter Haven's downtown, the Haven Hotel had fallen into disrepair as the area's visitors shifted their interests. The developer's intent was to provide sophisticated urban residences that would benefit from the structure's historic charm. After careful planning condominium residences were placed within the original envelope, with little change to the building's character. All major architectural features, in particular the lobby, were maintained to produce an award winning Historic Re-use Project.
