In this project we were entrusted with the task of replacing 510 linear feet of retaining walls at the back of a group of residences.
Here we have some new pics on the advances of the digging and building of the retaining wall.
The full length of this reinforcement is really coming along!!!
Finally the work is done and the objective has been accomplished. Very excited about it.
And after some weeks of hard work, the full length of this retaining has been reinforced and the landscape recovers its regular view.
A home is a living environment that evolves at the same time as its inhabitants. That is why sometimes reshaping the spaces of the house is necessary to adjust to the new needs of the family.
With this option we already complete three different designs for our client to choose. Now it is just a matter of adjusting with the needs and the budget for the residence addition.
After the first stage, where several options for the design of the house addition were presented, a final decision was taken by our client, the best choice for sure. Here we show some renders with the project for the addition, and some interior details of the bedroom and bathroom.
Different budgets, represented in differents options, are being introduced to this client so that the quality of these offices is extended for a long time. In this specific case a new exterior look to the roof of the building is proposed.
This second option for the redesign of the roof has additionally two alternatives for its material.
Here we have a third option for the redesign of the roof of this building. We offer in this ocassion two options for its material., as well.
Different project finish proposals give our clients the possibility to adjust the design and, therefore, their budgets to their ideal. Therefore, the development of the project isn´t compromised either on its economical or on its aesthetic aim.
An all inclusive render is another very good tool to help the client create an idea of what the final result of the renovation is going to look like.
In JMA's we like to provide our clients with different alternatives so that they have a better chance to decide what they really like for their houses. In this case we present four different facade alternatives for this renovation project.
Additionally to redesigning, in JMA's we also have projects which involve practically building from scratch a whole new house or building by which the use of the property is maximized both, at the interior and the exterior.
Project final render
In order to have a brand new home it is necessary to have a brand new canvas where to build on, therefore step number one: demolition.
Strong foundations were set last fall after the original home was demolished. The new house is starting to have a presence in the neighborhood.
Once the foundations are laid down, the new house begins to grow up and take real shape making the dream of a new home come true.
In this phase of the project, the exterior and interior walls of the new residence are being finished and prepared to recieve the trusses so that in the next stage the roof is built.
Now that the trusses are in their place this brand new residence is really taking shape before our eyes. Its different interior environments are also coming along.
After the trusses comes the roof, and little by little the new residence is getting its final look.
Another of our in-process projects is set in a Tampa club house.
The renovation involves:
In the first part of this project, in order to begin the renovation of this club house, a partial interior demolition is required.
Some interior spaces of this club house needed to be adapted in order to fit its new necessities.
Here we have some first looks on the new spaces created within this Tampa club house. Looking great!!
Obviously, during the process of renovation of this building the exterior suffered some changes as well.
In JMA's we are always striving to introduce fresh, innovative and meaningful architectural design which seeks improvement both, in our clients' quality of life and Tampa's landscapes.
In the first stage of this project the company intends to provide several options regarding the partial redesign of the interior of the house and some exterior additions (i.e. surrounding privacy courtyard wall, concrete driveway extension, facade's doors, windows and stucco).
In the process of design and planning the company gives different options in order to search what fits better the desires and needs of our clients.
In this second option the solid enclosure of the residence is replaced by perforated walls accompanied by latticed gates.
This is the third option given to our client. Variations in configuration and materials are provided for different alternatives. For instance, the perforated walls are replaced by solid ones, alternated with colums. There is as well, a high trimming which emphasizes the front corner of the protecting wall. Along with this, the pattern of the design of the sidewalk is changed.
Variances are administrative exceptions to land use regulations. Every project is different and it is our responsibility to provide due diligence to our client's needs. For this particular project, a variance request was granted due to special conditions that existed on the lot that created a hardship on our client. Even though the process is lengthy, we are suited to navigate through the process, explain and demonstrate special lot conditions and help our clients get where they need to be while complying with the most stringent requirements.
Finally, after the design stage in this project, we get down to the real business, i.e. the actual construction of the new look for this residence, both interior and exterior.
After some days of hard work we are beginning to see a big advance both in the interior and exterior of this nice Tampa family residence.
Now that the foundation is laid, the surrounding wall of this residence is little by little taking its shape. We are very happy the project is coming along.
Now that the surrounding wall of the residence is completely done we can take care of the details of the interior renovation.
And here we have some more details on how the interior of this new residence is coming along. It is almost done, just missing the final details.
It is very exciting to witness how the project comes true little by little in front of our eyes as a group's effort product.
Little by little the final details of the whole house are coming along. Here we have some facade and entrance final touches.
And after a couple of months of hard work we can finally see final result of the project. Here we show some pictures of the main bedroom and living room of this redesigned residence.
Keeping up with relevant news in the world of architecture and design - continued effort to improve upon skills in an effort to develop an aesthetic language by means of developing rules that come out of executing the work.

I recently decided to construct a covered patio and pool bathroom. After talking with various companies, I decided to utilize the services of Daniel Currea. Daniel was very knowledgeable, professional, and attentive to my needs. He went out of his way to work with me to design and draft the building plans, plus he helped me find a contractor to execute said plans. Throughout the process he was available for any questions or clarifications I needed. I would highly recommend hiring Daniel. Jennifer Logan
