The Architect's home, built in two phases, successfully fulfilled the designer's two main objectives, the preservation of the natural setting of over two dozen oak trees and an exciting home for his family. The residence has won several awards, including one from the Hillsborough County Planning Commission Award for single family residence for the design that featured the careful utilization of the existing environment. The unique sloped glass roof covers the main living area on the first floor and the children's playroom on the second floor and serves as a window for the master bedroom at the top floor. Northern light carefully filters through the oaks, brightens the living areas and brings a sense of joy throughout the home.
